Custom Elastomer and Rubber Formula Development

Expert chemical engineers at Valley Processing provide unique formulation and testing of rubber compounds for specialized requirements. If you need to create or develop a product, we can provide professional assistance on material selection, processing methods, and testing. Alternatively, you can also choose from our vast inventory of proven formulations. We work with all natural rubber and synthetic elastomeric compounds to meet the precise physical property or performance characteristic that you require. Existing compound formulas can also be revised to suit your new requirement after a thorough analysis.

We work with you to identify the appropriate rubber polymer, analyze its physical properties, match formulations, and finally test a sample of the material. Based on the analysis of critical parameters, such as physical applications and end-use of the part, recommendations on compounds used in formulation, processing, plus cleaning methods are provided. In addition, the chemical and thermal exposure of the finished part is also assessed.

Our operations are supported by two lab mills, a lab Banbury, and a lab extruder - all dedicated to proprietary formula development. Security and confidentiality of new formulas are rigorously maintained across all stages. We preserve all details of customer transactions with discretion to facilitate quick response to customer audits at all times.
